Solving The JFK Assassination: New Evidence Vs. Time Travel

9 Feb

Ask people what mystery they would most like to solve and you’re likely to get a wide range of answers. However, if you ask more than a few, solving the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is likely to be included on the list.

JFK, Dealey Plaza, 11-22-63, 11-22-1963

Why? Because for many, some key facets behind the JFK assassination remain largely unsolved. For example, was there a second gunman? Did Lee Harvey Oswald pull the trigger? Was there a shooter behind the ‘Grassy Knoll’ fence? Was Russia, the CIA, the Mafia, the Military-Industrial Complex or Fidel Castro involved? Why was alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald killed by Mob afffiliate Jack Ruby before Oswald could fully talk? The list of never fully answered questions is long, indeed.

As one would expect, many approaches to solving this mystery have been considered. Of them all, there is one approach that is unlikely to provide answers. There is also one that is considerably more likely to provide answers. Let’s look a both.

Time Travel
While time travel is not considered a deus ex machina method to solving seemingly intractable dilemmas, it shares some similarity with that ancient Greek approach of bringing in a hitherto-unknown force to provide a tidy ending. Unlike deus ex machina, which injects a most unlikely story resolution late in the story, time travel usually involves the necessary suspension of reality earlier on, in order to utilize unrealistic options that are not otherwise available.

This is not to belittle time travel. Time travel is a terrific format for entertainment, as witnessed by some outstanding films like ‘Somewhere in Time.’ So for escapist entertainment, if one suspends disbelief, time travel can be uniquely exciting. Yet if we’re intent on moving a step closer to actually solving the mystery of an event like the assassination of our 35th president, there is another option, which to many is far more exciting.

New Evidence
The use of new evidence is an approach that could actually advance the resolution of the thorniest problems…including the assassination of President Kennedy. Think of it this way. If a homicide detective truly wishes to solve a murder, time and again it is good detective work, including a hunt for all available new evidence, that is the proven recipe for success. Consider the uncovering of many noteworthy clues since the JFK assassination, like the discovery of never-seen movies taken in Dallas that day on November 22, 1963.

It’s Time to Solve the JFK Assassination

22 Nov

After more than half a century, now the mystery surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy can finally be solved.

It’s time.

The President and Mrs. Kennedy

Most are familiar with the many conspiracy theories. These include accusations involving Lee Harvey Oswald, a second gunman behind the ‘Grassy Knoll,’ the Mafia, the Cubans, the Russians, the CIA, the military-industrial complex, even Aristotle Onasis and President Lyndon Baines Johnson.   Yet none have been conclusive in confirming with absolute certainty who killed President Kennedy.

However, the JFK assassination conspiracy can still be solved. And here’s how.

We propose the following:

Draft legislation providing total immunity to anyone who provides new information on the JFK assassination.

We need to close the yet-unhealed wounds inflicted upon our nation by President Kennedy’s tragic death.

Yes, it’s time. Let’s not wait another fifty years.

Abraham, Martin & John F. Kennedy

Perhaps no song better personifies our nation’s loss of great men than the tune known as “Abraham, Martin and John.”

Click here to listen to the song “Abraham, Martin and John” performed by Dion.

AbrahamMartinandJohn

Abraham, Martin and John”  is a tribute to the memory of great assassinated Americans, all icons of social change, namely Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. It was written in response to the assassinations of Dr. King and President Kennedy in April and June of 1968.

Each of the first three verses features one of the men named in the song’s title, for example:

Has anybody here, seen my old friend John –
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He freed a lot of people, but it seems the good die young
I just looked around and he’s gone.

The final verse mentions Robert “Bobby” Kennedy, and ends with a description of him walking over a hill with the other three men.

Author Predicts Trove of Even More Kennedy Materials
As photos of President Kennedy continue to surface, some think additional images of a forensic nature may turn up. Such lost photos might include those of President Kennedy’s final moments in Dallas, but taken from a different camera angle than the famous Zapruder film.

Kennedy novelist Roy Widing says “Given the recent stream of newly discovered JFK pictures, undeveloped film in someone’s old camera could provide crucial information on one of history’s greatest mysteries…the assassination of President Kennedy.”

This distinct possibility is a key premise of Widing’s JFK thriller 11-22-1963: New Evidence. “Consider the Botello film, the Jeffries film and the Yeargan film,” Widing continues. “All three of those long-lost movies were recovered after nearly half a century in someone’s attic or drawer. All that’s needed to break the JFK assassination wide open is new evidence.”

Kennedy Confidant Hid Personal JFK Items
More  than 650 items were recently discovered at the home of longtime JFK confidant David F. Powers. Powers passed away in 1998 aged 85, and his family discovered the personal items hidden away as they prepared to sell the family home in Massachusetts.

“To be auctioned are the personal items he chose to keep close to himself throughout his lifetime. Powers’ collection encompasses years of history with the Kennedy Family and his White House years,” says John McInnis of McInnis Auctioneers.

This brief, contemporary video in Dealey Plaza was taken from virtually the exact same position as that of photographer Abraham Zapruder.

Mr. Zapruder’s home movie is considered among the best documentation of events when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

Half Century Since JFK Assassination Brings New Kennedy Films

18 Sep

November 22, 2013 commemorates 50 years since United States President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. As we approach the half century mark of this world-changing event, some remarkable films are scheduled for 2013 release.

11-22-1963: The President and Mrs. Kennedy Arrive In Dallas

The forthcoming contribution of Academy Award-winning filmmaker Oliver Stone is called “JFK II” by some and the James Bond-esque title “Secrets Never Keep” by others.  Mr. Stone is quoted by the Seattle PI as saying “I will be delving into the analysis of the many convoluted conspiracy theories that have captivated a nation and held it hostage for almost 50 years. I hope to shed some light on what has become a dark shadow on the Nation’s soul.”

Another anticipated JFK film is based on the bestselling book The Kennedy Detail by Lisa McCubbin and former Secret Service agent Gerald Blaine.  It tells the tale of JFK’s presidency from the perspective of the men who guarded his life during his time in office, including on November 22, 1963. Both films are expected to be released by November, 2013.

One more expected film about President Kennedy is reportedly being produced by famous actor Tom Hanks.  With the working title Parkland, speculation has it set entirely in Dallas, the site of President Kennedy’s murder. Movie insiders say the film will document moments leading up to President Kennedy’s assassination and focus on Abraham Zapruder, who filmed the most famous images from Dealey Plaza.

Events of November 22, 1963 continue to draw significant public attention, underscoring the lasting effect of President Kennedy’s legacy and his tragic death.
