It’s Time to Solve the JFK Assassination

22 Nov

After half a century, now the mystery surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy can finally be solved.

It’s time.

The President and Mrs. Kennedy

Most are familiar with the many conspiracy theories. These include accusations involving Lee Harvey Oswald, a second gunman behind the ‘Grassy Knoll,’ the Mafia, the Cubans, the Russians, the CIA, the military-industrial complex, even Aristotle Onasis and President Lyndon Baines Johnson.   Yet none have been conclusive in confirming with absolute certainty who killed President Kennedy.

However, the JFK assassination conspiracy can still be solved. And here’s how.

I propose the following:

Draft legislation providing total immunity to anyone who provides new information on the JFK assassination.

We need to close the yet-unhealed wounds inflicted upon our nation by President Kennedy’s tragic death.

Yes, it’s time. Fifty years is long enough.

New Never-Seen Film of President Kennedy in Dallas

5 Nov

Never-before-seen colour footage has emerged of JFK riding in his presidential motorcade moments before he is assassinated. The short clip, which was believed lost until earlier this year, shows the President looking relaxed and giving a thumbs up as he is driven past cheering crowds lined up along Main Street in Dallas.

The footage was shot shortly before the motorcade headed west towards Dealey Plaza, where Kennedy was assassinated.

JFK Assassination

It was taken by office worker Andre Leche, who was living in Dallas at the time. He had just bought a new movie camera and thought the President’s visit would be a perfect opportunity to use it. Mr Leche died in 1987 and the film canister was thought lost. But this year his son Paul was placing something in his safety deposit box and discovered a yellow Kodak box with ‘Kennedy’ written on it.

He said: ‘My family lived in Dallas in November of 1963. On the 22nd my father, Andre Leche, decided we should use his new movie camera to film President Kennedy. ‘After my father’s death in 1987 the original film canister was lost until this year. After looking in vain in my house, I was putting something valuable in my safety deposit box and came across a yellow Kodak box with “Kennedy” written on it.’

ER Doctors Say JFK Was Shot From Front

29 Oct

A new book timed for the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963, reveals that four doctors and two medical students among the first to see the former president believe that a hole below JFK’s Adam’s apple came from a shot fired in front of his car, a second-shooter theory dismissed by the controversial Warren Commission.

While the Commission said gunman Lee Harvey Oswald took all the shots from a building behind the president, riding in an open convertible through Dealey Plaza, the new book written about the medical professionals caring for Kennedy at Parkland Memorial Hospital bolsters a 1979 House report that JFK died in a conspiracy.

Abraham, Martin & John F. Kennedy

22 Oct

Perhaps no song better personifies our nation’s loss of great men than the tune known as “Abraham, Martin and John.”

Click here to listen to the song “Abraham, Martin and John” performed by Dion.

AbrahamMartinandJohn

Abraham, Martin and John”  is a tribute to the memory of great assassinated Americans, all icons of social change, namely Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. It was written in response to the assassinations of Dr. King and President Kennedy in April and June of 1968.

Each of the first three verses features one of the men named in the song’s title, for example:

Has anybody here, seen my old friend John -
Can you tell me where he’s gone?
He freed a lot of people, but it seems the good die young
I just looked around and he’s gone.

The final verse mentions Robert “Bobby” Kennedy, and ends with a description of him walking over a hill with the other three men.

More JFK Photos From Dallas

Rare photos taken by spectators on the day JFK was assassinated are available for the first time in decades.

The show at the International Center of Photography in New York, JFK November 22, 1963: A Bystander’s View of History, examines the photographs which show the fateful day from an angle not seen in official accounts of the day.

While some of the images were used in news reports at the time, the enduring image of the assassination has been through the famous film by Abraham Zapruder.

The snapshots show a smiling John F. Kennedy and wife Jackie moments before the President was allegedly shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. Other images show a distraught Jackie Kennedy at the President’s funeral and Oswald being led away by Federal office.

Unresolved answers about the assassination of President Kennedy may still be found. All that’s needed is new evidence. Find out more in the novel 11-22-1963: New Evidence.

Only One Thing Now Matters About The JFK Assassination

25 Aug

There’s been plenty of time for anyone with solid information to weigh in on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Think about it. November 22, 1963 happened a long time ago. Fifty years, in just a few months. Anyone who was an adult at that time is now eligible for social security. So what can we expect as we approach 11-22-2013? A startling new revelation?

11-22-63

The President and Mrs. Kennedy

No. If past years are any guide, what we’ll see this November will simply be more of the same, but with a convenient half century marker for the memory-challenged. That means lots of conspiracy talk. Perhaps a few so-called ‘witnesses’ who come out of the woodwork. Maybe even a deathbed confession. But none of it will matter. Here’s why.

Any testimony…whether it’s ‘first hand’ or even ‘insider knowledge’…will be questionable, at best. That’s because there have been hundreds of different books written since President Kennedy’s death and plenty of time for those with something significant to say to come forward. After this long, even genuine testimony by one who was there lacks sufficient gravitas to ‘move the needle’ and change what is now a predictably endless guessing game. As a result, only one thing now matters about the JFK assassination.

Solid physical evidence is all that remains to alter the check-mate of uncertain culpability in the JFK assassination. Short of such new evidence, the endless web of intrigue that is the JFK assassination will continue. The question of who killed JFK is now a profitable cottage industry. There is simply too much for current players to gain by speculating about what really happened in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

But all is not lost. This mystery can still be solved. All that’s needed is the uncovering of new evidence. That evidence could be in someone’s attic or dresser drawer. Think that’s crazy? Find out why it’s not…here.

More Lost JFK Photos Surface

A huge collection of memorabilia, including rare candid photographs of President Kennedy, are going up for auction to mark the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

Author Predicts Trove of Even More Kennedy Materials
As photos of President Kennedy continue to surface, some think additional images of a forensic nature may turn up. Such lost photos might include those of President Kennedy’s final moments in Dallas, but taken from a different camera angle than the famous Zapruder film.

Kennedy novelist Roy Widing says “Given the recent stream of newly discovered JFK pictures, undeveloped film in someone’s old camera could provide crucial information on one of history’s greatest mysteries…the assassination of President Kennedy.”

This distinct possibility is a key premise of Widing’s JFK thriller 11-22-1963: New Evidence. “Consider the Botello film, the Jeffries film and the Yeargan film,” Widing continues. “All three of those long-lost movies were recovered after nearly half a century in someone’s attic or drawer. All that’s needed to break the JFK assassination wide open is new evidence.”

Kennedy Confidant Hid Personal JFK Items
More  than 650 items were recently discovered at the home of longtime JFK confidant David F. Powers. Powers passed away in 1998 aged 85, and his family discovered the personal items hidden away as they prepared to sell the family home in Massachusetts.

“To be auctioned are the personal items he chose to keep close to himself throughout his lifetime. Powers’ collection encompasses years of history with the Kennedy Family and his White House years,” says John McInnis of McInnis Auctioneers.

Why The JFK Assassination Still Matters

13 Nov

Some suggest President John F. Kennedy’s murder in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 was the day America lost its innocence.  Because of so many public tragedies throughout the history of any country, others find this a largely rhetorical argument.

Yet given the magnitude of such an historic event, it remains an interesting point to consider. After all, less than five years after President Kennedy’s death, the United States was entangled in Vietnam, then suffered the leadership loss of both Martin Luther King, Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy.

President John F. Kennedy arrives in Dallas on November 22, 1963

Americans have endured a host of painful events on a large scale. Examples from the past century include World War I,  the Great Depression and World War II.  With the official Warren Commission report singling out American Lee Harvey Oswald as the president’s killer, it can be argued that what makes the JFK assassination so painful is that the murder of our own president was allegedly carried out by a fellow American, seen by some as our own collective hand.  While on a different scale, perhaps a better comparison of this effect is the Civil War, where Americans were done in by their own countrymen.

Oswald was an American military veteran, but a brief peek into his life shows signs of an atypical US citizen.  Eventually, unAmerican elements were implicated in the assassination of President Kennedy, including the Soviet Union, Cubans, and the Mafia.  But consider plenty of oft-suggested scenarios, such as the thought President Kennedy may have been killed by rogue elements within the US government.  As a result, Americans grew conflicted and lost trust in their institutions.  Reinforcing this view are polls showing a majority of Americans continue to believe President Kennedy was killed as part of a conspiracy.

Alleged JFK Assassin Lee Harvey Oswald

It’s not easy to walk away from the promises of Camelot.  The perception of self-immolation presents a reality difficult to imagine and even more difficult to watch, particularly given the grisly images of Abraham Zapruder’s color home movie showing the death of our president.  As we approach 49 years since the JFK assassination, take time to reflect on President Kennedy, how he lived and even how he died.  But also consider how the passing of this American president still affects the way we view ourselves today, now nearly half a century later.

This brief, contemporary video in Dealey Plaza was taken from virtually the exact same position as that of photographer Abraham Zapruder.

Mr. Zapruder’s home movie is considered among the best documentation of events when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

Dealey Plaza Video

While there are many ways to view Dealey Plaza, perhaps the most helpful place to begin is from the ground.

In this brief video, observe the former Texas Schoolbook Depository where Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly fired at President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.  Directly in front of you on Elm Street, you can see an ‘X’ that marks the spot where President Kennedy was mortally wounded.

Also included is the location from where photographer Abraham Zapruder filmed much of what is known about the assassination and even the mysterious ‘Grassy Knoll,’ suggested by many as an ideal location for a second shooter.

New JFK Assassination Films

17 Aug

As we approach the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination on November 22, 2013, two forthcoming films are expected to dramatize the historic event.

President Kennedy arrives in Dallas on November 22, 1963

Parkland:  Tom Hanks, Producer
One of these films will reportedly be produced by famous actor Tom Hanks and titled Parkland.  Current speculation has it set entirely in Dallas, the site of President Kennedy’s murder.  Movie insiders say Parkland will document moments leading up to President Kennedy’s assassination and also focus on Abraham Zapruder, who filmed the most famous images of the event.

Parkland is said to explore the effect of President Kennedy’s assassination on a wide range of Dallas area citizens, including a doctor, an FBI agent, Secret Service agents, a reporter, members of President Kennedy’s staff, alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald’s brother, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and amateur movie-maker Abraham Zapruder.

A Sequel to Oliver Stone’s Blockbuster ‘JFK?’

Director Oliver Stone is currently said to be in pre-production on what some have called a sequel to his popular film ‘JFK.’ The working title is ‘JFK: SECRETS NEVER KEEP.’ In the new controversial movie, Stone apparently does more than merely revisit territory covered in the first film.

Director Stone is recently quoted as saying “I haven’t fleshed it all out yet, but I am almost positive that this was how it all went down on November 22, 1963…”

Oliver Stone’s followup film on the JFK assassination is reportedly slated for a November, 2013 release.

A former Dallas County Sheriff’s deputy who first found the rifle of alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald will speak at a Texas church this Sunday.

Gene Boone of Abilene, Texas will tell his fascinating story and give a PowerPoint presentation on the Kennedy assassination during a special assembly in the church auditorium with all of the adult and teen Bible classes at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Crockett Road Church of Christ in Palestine. Guests are invited to attend.

Boone also was also acquainted with Jack Ruby, who killed Oswald. Boone was working in sales at the Dallas Times Herald at the time and responsible for securing advertisements for Ruby’s establishment and others in the downtown Dallas area prior to becoming a deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.

Given Mr. Boone’s familiarity with Jack Ruby, on Sunday he plans to provide his own theory on why Ruby shot Oswald.

‘Tough Day’ Predicted By JFK Was Date Of His Own Funeral

9 Mar

Secret recordings made by President John F. Kennedy have just been released.

The clandestine tapes reveal that, in the days before his assassination, President Kennedy predicted the following Monday would be a “tough day.” That day was the date of his funeral.

Mr. Kennedy recorded meetings in the Oval Office at the White House without the knowledge of visitors or staff.  The newly released 45 hours of recordings, issued by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston, cover the final months of his life, including moments between the president and his children. They finish two days before his death in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

This just-released evidence underscores the premise of a brand new novel titled “11-22-1963:  New Evidence.”  That new book reveals how the assassination of President John F. Kennedy can finally be solved with new evidence.
